Scott Jacobson

Scott Jacobson is a Principal at Madrona Venture Group. He joined Madrona in 2007 and focuses on evaluating and executing investments in internet and consumer web services, digital media and online advertising. Scott is on the board of Teachstreet and works with a number of other Madrona portfolio companies, including AdReady, Apollo Mobile Media, Bag, Borrow or Steal, Local Marketers, Mercent, Mixpo, and WildTangent.

Prior to joining Madrona, Scott worked at Amazon.com, where he held senior product and business management positions in the Digital Media and Seller Platform groups. He led several key initiatives, including the international rollout of Amazon's Merchants@ platform. Earlier in his career, Scott was a Senior Consultant in Accenture's strategy consulting practice, where he worked with clients in enterprise software, retail, and energy sectors. Scott graduated cum laude from Northwestern University, where he received his BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics. Scott received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
