Brian Cohee, Chief Technology Officer

Brian's passion is bringing simple and powerful web-based software to market. He strives to understand the end-to-end customer experience, and subscribes to the design principle that "less is more." Brian joined Mixpo in March, 2007.

Brian has held product and marketing roles in early-stage Internet companies including Netscape, RealNetworks, and most recently as Director of Program Management and Product Experience at Trumba. At Netscape, Brian worked on version 2 of Netscape Navigator, and at RealNetworks, he was on the founding teams of the Real Broadcast Network, RealNetworks Professional Services, and RealSystem Mobile.

Prior to working for Internet companies, Brian was a scientist for over a decade using computers to solve problems in earthquake rupture physics and the modeling of strong ground motion. He holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford University, an M.S. from The University of Michigan, and a B.A. from Whitman College.
